I was lucky enough to spend this beautiful weekend at Camp Savage with 30 other beautiful amazing women. We all have our own unique stories about our fitness journey but it has all brought us to the same place. This weekend was full of fitness, health, wellness and nutrition information! I could not have left there feeling more inspired or motivated. Hope you guys are ready! These girls are my sisters and I look to them for guidance and motivation. I am here for you to do the same. Let's make this journey together. My purpose is to help as many of my friends and family lead a healthy active lifestyle.
Stress is I believe the leading cause of weight gain and even worse rebound weight gain. Lets remove the toxic people from our life and surround ourselves with positive loving souls.
Look forward to sharing more of my experiences with you as the week goes on and don't forget to visit my website for more inspiration!

Snow again! Spring really is coming I promise and remember what you do now will show up this summer. Consistency is key. I miss running outside these days the dreadmill is really wearing on me so I try and change my cardio up.
Today it was not practical to try and make it to the gym before work through the snow so that means work out at home. No equipment needed for jumping jacks, squats, lunges, mountain climbers, push ups, show and gos....you get the idea. My heart was pumping half way through and stayed that way through the 35 minute workout.
However, my workout is the easy part of my day! Eating right in this weather is damn near impossible. Diet is 90% of my success so one meal at a time, stay busy and remember my goals! Isagenix truly helps me to avoid my cravings. I am 5 weeks out from my next competition!
Someone sent me this photo yesterday and it reminds me how important my diet is. I truly do not want to undo all my hard work! Hope you enjoy.

Rain Rain go away! This weather stinks but don't get down spring is right around the corner. I like these days it gives me a chance to organize, regroup and COOK! Here is what I am making today.... Hope you enjoy
For the crust:
1/2 head cauliflower, cut into florets
1 egg, beaten
1 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon fresh basil, chopped
2 teaspoons oregano
Salt and pepper
Topping:
1 large boneless, skinless chicken breast, cooked & shredded
(I used left over from my crock pot shredded buffalo chicken)
1/3 cup Franks red hot sauce
1/2 large orange bell pepper, sliced
3 ounces fresh mozzarella
Ground pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. To make the crust, place the
cauliflower florets into a food processor or blender. Pulse on low until the
mixture looks like rice.
Place cauliflower rice into a skillet and cook for about 6-8
minutes. Remove from heat and place in a mixing bowl. Add egg, cheese, oregano,
basil and salt and pepper.
Cover a pizza pan with parchment paper and smooth crust over the
parchment paper to about a 1/4 inch thickness.
Bake crust for about 15-20 minutes, or until crisp and golden
brown. Remove from heat.
Mix chicken and pepper with the Buffalo sauce. Mix well. Place
chicken and pepper on the crust. Add small pieces of mozzarella around the
pizza and sprinkle with pepper.
Bake for about 5-6 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
Let cool
slightly and eat up!

Today is another beautiful day! Spring is right around the corner. I have always had enough of winter by this time of year but I still get out and enjoy it while it's here. Yesterday I took my 6 year old snowboarding. She has been snowboarding almost 2 years now. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with this kid. We were going down intermediate slopes and she was so in control and focused. As it got later in the day she started to get tired and frustrated I suggested we finish out the day with some easier runs and she replied "NO, I don't want it to be easy!" I love the drive and determination she has at 6.
Today she has her second MMA lesson. She craves the discipline and structure on this sport and I encourage every bit of athleticism it inspires. Kaelyn understands a healthy lifestyle at 6 years old. It is never to early to instill the importance of exercise and a healthy diet, because Kaelyn has an understanding of the importance of these basics she will live a long healthy life. GO KAELYN! She inspires we to work harder everyday.

Sunday is one of my favorite days. Its usually laid back and fun. I love Sunday brunch which is something I no longer indulge in while prepping for a show.
This Sunday is a little different. I have to work on the ambulance today for 24 hours and with my show 8 weeks out I cannot miss my gym time..... This means 430am workout....ugh!
My alarm went off and I only hit snooze once! Good start. Down stairs for my supplements and Eshot and off to the gym.
I knocked off 45 minutes of weight training (back today) and a quick 5K run. Isapro shake in, yummy. There done and off to work.
If you want results consistency is key! You have to adapt to your schedule changes and make workouts a priority. Trust me once your done its well worth it.
Now get your booty to the gym!

Nutrition! So complicated and 90% of our battle with health and wellness. Did you know 70% of disease is caused by what we eat? It has taken me a very long time but I finally have a healthy LIFESTYLE plan that works for me. I believe in whole food, all natural nutrition. Being a certified sports nutrition specialist I try and steer clear of processed foods. Have you ever seen anyone spraying crop fields? They wear masks because the chemicals will kill you if you breath them in.....but we eat them?! Organic is so important!
My lifestyle isn't always convenient which is why I LOVE Isagenix. Its whole food supplementation in convenient packaging! No matter what lifestyle plan you chose make sure your getting all your nutrients, your satisfied and you fell fabulous!
